  A: The first step to replace the Fuel Tank filler pipe requires draining the fuel from the tank. The first step requires that you lift and support the vehicle before taking out the fuel fill pipe lower bolt. First loosen the fuel fill pipe hose clamp at the Fuel Tank then disconnect quick connect fittings (1, 3) of the Fuel Tank vent pipe before removing the fuel fill pipe hose from the Fuel Tank and the fuel fill pipe from the vehicle. You must start with fuel fill pipe attachment to the vehicle followed by the fuel fill pipe hose attachment to the Fuel Tank. Tighten the Fuel Tank hose clamp that contains the fuel fill pipe to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in) then join the Fuel Tank vent pipe quick connect fittings (1, 3). Lower the vehicle while securing the fuel fill pipe lower bolt to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Secure the fuel fill pocket and the fuel fill pipe to fill pipe housing by tightening its bolts to 1.5 n.m (13 lb in).
