How to replace the front seat motor (Tilt) on 2007 Chevrolet Malibu?

A full up position must be set for the front seat to relieve pressure on the motor before changing the adjuster motor (Tilt). First remove the front seat while also disconnecting all electrical connectors. The process starts with removing the seat motor fastener which corresponds to part number 11589129 and the seat motor roll pin numbered 11589130 before pulling out the seat motor 11589131. Start your installation procedure by fitting the seat motor and then add the roll pin to the motor. Position the seat motor fastener before tightening it to 7 N.m (62 lb in). Install the front seat while also reattaching the electrical connectors to complete the procedure.
