How to replace the rear brake line on 2007 GMC Acadia?

After raising the vehicle and locating the tire and wheel assembly you must replace them. Remove all dirt from the brake pipe fitting and use the back up wrench on the brake hose fitting to disconnect it while putting a cap on the brake pipe to stop fluid loss and contamination. Undo the brake hose bracket bolt first then detach the brake hose fitting bolt by removing the gaskets. Keep the gaskets out of the system. Position the new brake hose then install both new brake hose fitting gaskets. Fasten the brake hose fitting bolt at 40 N.m and then tighten the brake hose bracket bolt to 12 N.m. Twist the brake pipe fitting to the brake hose fitting and fasten it to 17 N.m (13 lb ft) using a spare wrench. End the process by servicing the hydraulic brake system then placing the wheel assembly and lowering the vehicle.
