    A: Before replacing the fuel filler tube with the left-hand door you must clean all fuel pipe and hose connections and the adjacent areas to protect against fuel system contamination. Drain the fuel by opening the fuel filler cap so the fluid falls below the fuel tank fill hose. Begin by first uninstalling the 2 retaining bolts and push-pin that keeps the filler neck attached to the body after which you should lift the vehicle. The fuel filler tube ground strap bolt needs removal first followed by fuel fill hose to fuel fill pipe clamp loosening and disconnecting the fuel fill hose from the fuel fill pipe before proceeding to take out the fuel fill pipe assembly. To install the plumbing you should attach the fuel fill hose to the fuel fill pipe by aligning it directly into the fuel fill pipe housing before applying torque to the fuel fill hose clamp at 2.75 n.m (24 lb in). Follow by installing the fuel filler tube ground strap bolt while tightening it to 8 n.m (70 lb in) then lowering the vehicle. First attach the fuel fill pipe housing bolts alongside the push-pin by securing them at 6 n.m (53 lb in). The fuel tank requires a refill before reattaching the fuel filler cap.
