To change the timing chain and sprockets, start by removing the spark plugs to Crankshaft rotation. Then you will remove the engine front cover, right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner, chain shoe, and chain guide. Next, take out the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain, and the Timing Chain Tensioner and upper guide. Then remove the timing chain and Crankshaft sprocket from the nose of the Crankshaft. For installation, ensure that the Crankshaft sprocket has the timing mark visible and aligned with the pin at the Crankshaft. Push the Crankshaft against the step to slide the Crankshaft sprocket onto the Crankshaft nose making sure that the Crankshaft is in the stage one timing position with the en 46111 Crankshaft rotation socket (EN 46111). Move to install the timing chain, followed by the primary upper camshaft Timing Chain Guide, timing chain tensioner, right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Guide, chain shoe, and tensioner. Lastly, replace the spark plugs and the engine front cover.
