How to replace the fuel level sensor on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

As the first step to change the Fuel Level Sensor you must separate the fuel sender unit from the Fuel Tank. Do disconnect the Fuel Level Sensor electrical connector which exists inside the module cover. A flat-bladed tool with small dimensions will help you disengage the Fuel Level Sensor retainer while you pull the level sensor down to remove it from the fuel sender module. You should guide the Fuel Level Sensor while you reinstallation is successful provided that the retainer properly locks into position. After connecting the Fuel Level Sensor electrical cable install the fuel sender inside its Fuel Tank position.
