How to replace the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on 2008 Chevrolet Malibu?

For the inflatable restraint rearend sensor replacement, disable the sir first. Next vibration bricks knock the air cleaner intake duct and connect position assurance (CPA) from the electrical connector on the front end sensor. Disconnect the electrical connector at the front end sensor and remove the 2 integral bolts (wrench) that hold the sensor to the frame front crossmember and extract the front end sensor from the vehicle. For installation, place the new front end sensor into the vehicle and secure the 2 integral bolts to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Attach the sensor electrical connector to the front end sensor and replace the cpa to it back to the connector. Lastly, install the air cleaner intake duct again, and turn on the sir system.
