How to Replace a Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 on 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Vehicle support and elevation are necessary before commencing Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 replacement. The heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connector needs removal from the engine wiring harness electrical connector. After using Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to remove the HO2S the operation is complete. The threads of the sensor require application of the anti-seize compound (P/N 12377953) or equivalent material which functions as a special anti-seize mixture made from liquid graphite and glass beads to ease sensor removal. Tighten the HO2S with the Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to 42 N.m (31 lb ft) if necessary. Install the HO2S electrical connector onto the engine wiring harness electrical connector before lowering the vehicle.
