  A: Before beginning shoe replacement for the parking brake users should first block the rear drive wheels and then release both park brake lever tension and electronic park cables if their vehicle is equipped with this system. The first step is to position the ignition switch at off followed by parking the vehicle. Us the tire and wheel assembly and next follow with removal of the rear brake rotor.
