How to replace the rear fog light bulb on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

The first step to replacing a rear fog lamp bulb requires removal of the lift gate applique. First remove the fog lamp bulb socket from the applique assembly by turning it counterclockwise to pull it out. First disconnect the fog lamp bulb from its socket. You must first put the new fog lamp bulb into the socket before placing the fog lamp bulb socket into the applique assembly by clockwise twisting and insertion. First, attach the electrical connector before you install the lift gate applique in its proper place.
