How to replace the rear Back Up Light on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

Open the liftgate to access the back up lamp area. Remove the back up lamp socket by turning it counterclockwise from the liftgate applique followed by removing the back up lamp bulb from the socket. To set up the replacement install the bulb into the socket and push the back up lamp socket directly into its position in the liftgate. After that place the liftgate applique back on the liftgate and secure its position.
