  A: The first step to replace the rear seat number 2 back pivot actuator motor includes removing the vehicle seat. As the first step remove the rear seat back panel and subsequently remove the head restraints alongside the rear seat back cover. Depending on the task use a screwdriver to remove the inner recliner arm covers from the seat back and unscrew the outer recliner arm cover screws before removing the outer recliner arm pivot covers. Gently detach the rotation motor electrical connection then uninstall the rotation motor hardware to slide off the motor off its driveshaft position. To install the rotation motor connect it to the driveshaft by mounting bolts which should be tightened to 7 nm (62 lb in). Slide the rotation motor between the driveshaft after reinstalling its electrical connector to the pivot motor and attaching outer recliner arm pivot covers secured with 2 nm (18 lb in) cover screws. Place the inner recliner arm covers on the seat back before adding the rear seat back cover, head restraints and finishing with the rear seat back panel. Place the seat back into the vehicle before performing seat calibration.
