  A: Begin repairing the rear sunroof window cable assembly by removing the rear vent window followed by center window panel and the rear sunshade assembly. First locate the right or left rear track screw on the sunroof frame before disconnecting the drive tube retainer from the track. Then lower the track through the sunroof opening into the passenger area. Separate the rear vent window cam assembly (3, 6) from its track positioning and detach the rear vent window cable assembly from the track. To install the rear vent window cable assembly place its bullet end into the rear window track and gently push the assembly through the track beyond the bullet stop. Push the cable into the drive tube allowing the cam assembly to find its proper position alongside the opposite track-side cam. Feed the drive tube retainer into the rear track while lining up the cable assembly cam pin with the cam block on the lower sunroof frame. Position the track into its correct position on the lower sunroof frame. Before the final installation of screws check whether the side-to-side track measurements show parallel lines and then loosely put on the screws. Screw the track to the drive tube retainers while tightening the screws to 5 nm force (44 lbs of inch torque).
