Begin the turn signal multifunction switch replacement process by taking off the Steering Column trim covers. Move the Steering Column to a straight position between the steering wheel fulcrum points before disconnecting electrical wiring as required. After removing the turn signal multifunction switch bolts you should extract the switch from the Steering Column. For installation place the new turn signal multifunction switch onto the Steering Column but tighten the top bolt to 3 nm (27 lb in) while the front bolt should be tightened to 7 nm (62 lb in). Reinstall the Steering Column trim covers after you reconnect all necessary electrical connectors.
