How to Service and Repair the Timing Chain Tensioner on 2009 Chevrolet Colorado?

In order to change the Timing Chain Tensioner, take off the camshaft cover and the engine front cover. Turn the crankshaft until the piston number one is at top dead center. Mark the timing chain links with a Camshaft Holding Tool. De-tension, clear the tensioner and fit the new one. Arrange the marked links and place the covers back.
