The replacement of the upper switch begins once you twist the component counterclockwise to separate it and disconnect the upper switch electrical connector. Install the Brake Pedal switches by keeping the Brake Pedal fully up and resting upright. First join the upper switch electrical connector and afterward place the upper switch into its upper retainer space before tightening it clockwise until complete installation. You must readjust the switch following brake booster pushrod installation to Brake Pedal assembly because improper adjustments will result in erroneous cruise control system performance. Reinstall the left closeout/insulator panel as the last step.
