How to replace the rear exhaust muffler on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?

You need to start the repair by taking off the nuts and gasket from the rear Muffler pipe flange which connects to the front Muffler pipe flange. First detach the rear Muffler assembly from the rubber hangers on the Tail Pipe end and subsequently remove the rear Muffler assembly. Check the rear Muffler along with the pipe for exhaust fume entry points including holes, damage, open seams and other sources of deterioration. To install the rear Muffler assembly tighten the nuts and gasket along the rear Muffler pipe flange-to-front Muffler pipe flange to reach 30 nm (22 lb ft).
