Begin by lifting the car and removing the Starter solenoid nut which disconnects the Starter harness. Afterward disconnect the battery positive connector using the Starter solenoid nut. The Starter installation starts with disassembling the engine block ground bolt and Starter mounting bolts until the Starter can be removed. Installation begins with placing the Starter in its original position. Insert the Starter mounting bolts into their correct positions then torque them to 25 nm (18.4 lb ft). Reinstall the ground bolt to the engine block then connect the Starter solenoid nut and start the battery positive connector and Starter harness using 38 nm (28.0 lb ft) torque settings for the engine ground bolt and 10.5 nm (7.7 lb ft) torque settings for the Starter solenoid harness connector and Starter solenoid battery positive connector.
