• Q: How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?

  A: The first step in replacing the Throttle Body assembly is to disconnect the negative Battery Cable. Drain the engine coolant and take off the air cleaner assembly. Next, remove etc connector, coolant inlet hose, coolant outlet hose and evap hose detaching the pcv hose. The etc tightening bolts and the etc with the seal ring should be removed. For installation, install the etc with the seal ring and tighten the etc tightening bolts to 8 nm (70.8 lb in). Reconnect the lines of the coolant inlet hose, lines of the coolant outlet hose, lines of the evap hose, and the connector of the pcv hose and then connect the etc connector. Install the air cleaner assembly and top-up the coolant in the engine. Lastly, connect the negative Battery Cable.
