2010 Chevrolet Aveo Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Washer Reservoir and pump on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?
A: Remove the negative Battery Cable before you start replacing the windshield washer solvent container and pump. Take off the front left wheel and then get rid of the bolts that keep the front wheel well splash shield in place. Unhook the hoses from the reservoir and take off the plugs from the reservoir pump's electrical wires. Unscrew the bolts and nuts so you can take out the reservoir. Put the reservoir in place and tighten the nuts and bolts to 9 nm (80 lb in). Connect both the reservoir pump wires and the washer hoses again. Attach the front wheel well splash shield with the bolts and tighten to 1.5 nm (13 lb in), and then put the front left wheel back in place. Lastly, put the negative Battery Cable back on the battery.
