The procedure to replace the rear mount of a tremec 6-speed manual transmission starts with vehicle lifting followed by support to maintain Engine Mount verticality to avoid any damage. A suitable jack combined with wood as a support must be placed under the transmission before removing two transmission mount nuts as well as four transmission support retaining bolts which allows the transmission support to be pulled away from the vehicle. Following this step, work to remove the two transmission mount bolts while extracting the transmission mount that belongs to the Transmission Assembly. Place the new transmission mount onto the transmission by following the specified fastener precautions. Use a torque wrench to install the two transmission mount bolts at 58 nm (43 lb ft) before you reattach the transmission support by tightening its four transmission support bolts to the specified torque of 58 nm (43 lb ft). Finally tighten the transmission mount nuts to 58 nm (43 lb ft), remove the support and lower the vehicle.
