How to replace the cruise control switch on 2010 Chevrolet Colorado?

In order to change cruise control release switch, first unplug the electrical connector and push the switch off the brake pedal bracket by turning counter-clockwise and pushing the locking tabs in. To install, re-connect the electrical connector, as necessary, and re-set the cruise release switch.
