How to replace the rear car speakers in a convertible on 2010 Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step to replace a convertible rear speaker is to put the foldable top in the down position together with the tonneau cover. A firm grasp of the speaker cover will allow pulling it away from the trim panel to remove the speaker grill. Before installation the speaker requires screw removal from the trim panel and the electrical connector must be disconnected from the speaker. The speaker should be removed from its placement inside the vehicle. Connect the electrical connector to your speaker and put the speaker into its trim panel installation opening. Prudent fastener handle should be exercised to prevent destructive effects on the vehicle. Secure the speaker to the trim panel by installing screws that should be tightened to 2 Nm (18 lb in). Set the speaker grill tabs into corresponding slots in the trim panel then push the speaker grill toward the inside until complete seating. Place the tonneau cover together with the folding top in their factory settings.
