How to replace the brake booster vacuum hose rear pipe on 3.0L and 3.6L engines on Buick LaCrosse?

You need to step on the Brake Pedal multiple times to empty the power vacuum Brake Booster reserve before replacing the vacuum rear pipe on 3.0l and 3.6l engines. Turn off power Brake Booster vacuum pipe and disconnect both its sensor connector and rear vacuum line retainer on the dash panel. Separate the vacuum sensor and check valve from the power Brake Booster while you take out the rear pipe from its retainers on the right front brake line and on the dash panel. To access the wheelhouse area place support under the vehicle and take off the front liner from the right front wheel. Disconnect the quick connect at the power Brake Booster pump bracket first and then take off the rear pipe from the vehicle. Positon the rear pipe then secure it to the power Brake Booster pump bracket and install its retaining clip. Connect the quick connector and return the right front wheelhouse front liner to place. Mount the rear pipe at its retainers on both the right front brake pipe and at retaining items 3 and 4 on the dash panel. Connect the vacuum sensor with check valve to the power Brake Booster, plug in the power brake vacuum sensor electronics, then put the power brake vacuum hose in place.
