How to replace the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor and Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor on Buick LaCrosse?

Fitting a new mass air flow (MAF), intake manifold temperature (IMT) sensor begins with switching off vehicle ignition. Start by removing the air cleaner intake duct then disconnect the maf electrical connector. Remove the maf sensor fasteners before you take out the maf sensor as well as the maf sensor seal. First position the new maf sensor and its seal then install the maf sensor using screws securing them according to the 4 n.m (35 lb in) specification described in service precautions. To complete the repair install the air cleaner intake duct and securely connect the maf electrical connector.
