How to service the A/C Switch control assembly on Cadillac Eldorado?

To service the control assembly; sometime consider removing the radio and HVAC control assembly first, then the nuts from the bracket which goes across joining the radio and HVAC control assembly. Next, mount the HVAC control assembly to the radio brackets, using the right fastener in the right place, as replacement fasteners should correspond to the part number for that application.
