How to replace the surge tank inlet coolant pipe on Cadillac Eldorado?

To replace the surge tank inlet hose/pipe, start by pull off the fuel injector sight shield and partially drains the engine coolant. Take off the PCV fresh air tube and release the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank. Next, remove the surge tank inlet hose from the engine and remove the 2 push nuts that secure the pipe to the engine. After that, remove the surge tank inlet hose/pipe assembly from the vehicle. For installation, reposition the surge tank inlet hose/pipe assembly to the vehicle and use the two push nuts to fasten it. Connect the surge tank inlet hose to the engine, and re-install the PCV fresh air tube and then connecting the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank. Finally, apply the cooling system and replace the fuel injector sight shield.
