How to replace the Motor and Transmission Mount on a 4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E automatic transmission on Cadillac Escalade EXT?

The replacement of the transmission mount for a 4l60-e/4l65-e/4l70-e automatic transmission requires raising and supporting the vehicle and using a transmission jack to support the transmission before removing the retaining nuts or bolts. Raise the transmission after eliminating its retaining nuts from the transmission mount to the transmission support. The transmission mount to the transmission or transfer case adapter mounting bolts should be removed followed by raising the transmission just high enough to extract the transmission mount. Place the transmission mount back onto the vehicle until you can install and tightly fasten the transmission mount to the adapter mounting bolts using a torque of 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Lower the transmission after securing the transmission mount into the transmission support retaining nut or nuts by applying 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs. Of torque). Lower the vehicle while removing the transmission jack.
