How to replace the horn on Cadillac SRX?

Start horn replacement by both lifting then supporting the vehicle. Start removing the lower air deflector before turning the bolt that holds the horn assembly to the body four full times. You should grasp both sides of the horn assembly and move it back and forth before pulling it forward onto the stud. Pull the horn assembly in the rearward direction until the large keyhole slot section receives the brass stud. All operations begin with disconnecting the horn electrical connector from the horn assembly before pulling the horn assembly outward to extract it from the vehicle body. To install the horn electrical connector joins with the horn assembly while the stud on the horn assembly should be inserted into the large portion of the keyhole slot . Pull the horn assembly forward along the keyhole slot then tighten bolt with 9 N.m (80 lb in) torque to lock it in position to the body side rail. The procedure ends with air deflector rehanging and then lowering the vehicle.
