How to replace the front door power door lock switch on Cadillac STS?

The first thing to do for replaced the front door power door lock switch is to take off the door trim panel. Cut off the power to the switch, and then remove the tabs fastening it to the door trim panel. Lift the switch up through the bottom part of the door trim panel and take it out. To fit the switch, push it into the trim panel so the mounting tabs lock, attach the electrical connectors, and put the door trim back in place.
