First, to replace the air cleaner inlet duct, is to turn off the ignition and separate the electrical connector from the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. Then, remove the breather tube from the air cleaner intake duct and loosen the clamps used to fasten the duct and removing. During the installation of the new air cleaner intake duct, ensure that it is installed in the right position to avoid incorrect readings by sensors resulting in mil illumination or other drivability problems. Tighten the clamps, which secure the duct, at a torque of 3 n.m (27 lb in) as well as reconnect the hose of the breather as well as the electrical connector to the iat sensor.
