Disconnect the power mirror switch electric wires and then push the switch through the accessory plate retainers until it can be removed. In order to install it you need to position the power mirror switch inside the accessory switch plate making sure the retaining tabs achieve full seating. Reposition the power accessory switch plate to the door trim panel while pressing to achieve full retention of switch plate retainers. Finally, restore the electrical connection to the power mirror switch before fixing the switch plate to its proper position.
