To end up the air cleaner outlet duct initially expel the engine harness electrical interface from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor then evacuate the intake manifold cover. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the camcover and loosen the clamps between air cleaner housing and
Throttle Body. Reposition the pcv hose clamp at camshfl cover before removing the hose from camshft cover. Then, pull out the push pin retainer and the air cleaner outlet duct, and where necessary move the pcv hose clamp to the outlet duct and pull out the pcv hose from outlet duct. For installation if required, install the pcv hose over outlet duct and fix the pcv hose clamp to the outlet duct. Mount the air cleaner outlet duct to over the Throttle Body and air cleaner housing and tighten the clamps respectively at the air cleaner housing and Throttle Body to tightness of 5n.m (44 Lb in). After that, attach the push pin retainer, reconnect the pcv hose to the camshaft cover, attach the pcv hose clamp on the camshaft cover, attach the engine harness electrical connector on the maf/iat sensor, and finally attach the intake manifold cover up.
