How to replace the power seat switch on Chevrolet Colorado?

The power seat switch replacement procedure starts with unattaching the seat cushion outer trim panel before carefully removing the switch bezel from the seat assembly. The buttons from the switch must be removed while the tabs connecting the seat switch to the seat bezel need to be released. The power seat switch harness should be detached from the seat harness before extracting the power switch from its position on the seat bezel. First install the power seat switch harness to the seat harness before inserting the power seat switch into the seat bezel while making sure all retaining tabs are fully in place. To complete the installation insert the buttons on the switch before putting on the switch bezel assembly to the seat assembly and reinstalling the seat cushion outer trim panel.
