To service and repair the air cleaner fresh air duct/hose start by removing the engine cover then pcv hose from the fuel mixer housing. Next, undo the bolts on the air cleaner housing and loose the retaining clamp from the maf sensor at the air cleaner housing then pull the air cleaner housing off the vehicle. Remove the maf sensor and iat sensor connectors (6, 7), before removing the lpr reference hose from the maf sensor elbow. Loosen the retaining clamp on maf sensor elbow at the fuel mixer housing and remove the maf sensor & elbow from the vehicle. Proceed with pulling out the bolts from the fuel mixer housing bracket and remove the bracket from the vehicle. Unbolt the fuel supply hose and clamp from the fuel mixer, idle solenoid clamp and hose from the idle solenoid, and fuel control solenoid clamp and hose from the fuel solenoid, not forgetting any that you did not check. Unscrew the throttle body adapter nut and remove the throttle body adapter and the fuel mixer housing while still as an assembly. For installation, replace the throttle body adapter and the fuel mixer housing into the vehicle, then attach the throttle body adapter nut and bolt-tightening it with 4 n.m (35 lb in). Then, hook the fuel control solenoid hose and clamp, idle solenoid hose and clamp, and the fuel supply hose and clamp to the fuel mixer. Loosely mount all 3 mounting bolts and bracket, tighten bracket to a/c bolt 28 n.m, 21 lb in and bracket to mixer cover bolts to 12 n.m 106 lb in. Mount the maf sensor and elbow into the vehicle tightening the clamp of the maf sensor elbow at the fuel mixer housing to 7 n.m (62 lb in). Hook up the lpr reference hose to the maf sensor elbows &, maf and iat sensor connectors (6,7). In the vehicle, installation of the air cleaner housing along with tightening of retaining clamp from the maf sensor elbow at the air cleaner housing to 7 n.m (62 lb in) and the air cleaner housing mounting bolts to 11 n.m (97 lb in). Lastly, join the pcv hose to the fuel mixer housing and replace the engine cover.
