A proper replacement of the auxiliary evaporator core in a 4-door vehicle begins with refrigerant recovery. You need to remove the rear quarter interior trim according to requirement together with disconnecting all auxiliary refrigerant hoses from the auxiliary evaporator while also unplugging the needed electrical connectors. Begin the evaporator case cover removal process by unscrewing the case screws attached to the rear quarter sheet metal before taking out the blower housing then the 10 case clips and at last separating the case halves. You must first remove both the pipe insulator and the evaporator core from the rest of the components. Placing the new evaporator core should be the first step followed by pipe insulation installation. Secure the evaporator case cover through screw attachment of the clips. Place the auxiliary case back into the vehicle then connect all required refrigerant and electrical components to the auxiliary evaporator. The last step requires reattaching the right rear quarter trim panel.
