How to replace the lower fan shroud on Chevrolet K3500?

Before you install the lower fan shroud, you need to take out the upper fan shroud. After that, hoist up the vehicle and take off the front differential carrier shield if it is installed. The lower fan shroud bolts and the lower fan shroud should be removed for the 5.7L, 7.4L and 6.5L (Diesel) engines. Check the lower fan shroud for damage and exchange it if it's required. Before installing the lower fan shroud, tighten the bolts to 9 Nm (71 inch lbs.) for every engine. Place the lower fan shroud, then put back the front differential carrier shield if there is one, lower the vehicle and lastly install the upper fan shroud.
