The installation process starts by applying new seal washers on the Evaporator core fittings after which you can install the A/C Expansion Valve. When installing the A/C Expansion Valve bolts exercise caution because a small phillips screwdriver can help position the bolts correctly while applying torque to 5 nm (44 lb in). New sealing washers must be installed on the Evaporator A/C Expansion Valve tube fittings before connecting the condenser tube and Evaporator hose to the A/C Expansion Valve and securing the A/C Expansion Valve nut to 20 nm.
