    Q: How to replace the left side exhaust manifold on GMC Acadia?
    A: The replacement process of the left side Exhaust Manifold begins by uninstalling the Exhaust Manifold heat shield along with the oil level indicator. The procedure starts by removing Exhaust Manifold nuts that connect the Catalytic Converter along with the Exhaust Manifold bolts. The gasket must be discarded since it will not be used again after the Exhaust Manifold removal. First install one Exhaust Manifold bolt onto the Exhaust Manifold followed by positioning the new Exhaust Manifold gasket on the Exhaust Manifold and the bolt. Follow the fastener notice while connecting the Exhaust Manifold with gasket between the Cylinder Head and the Catalytic Converter. Fasten the remaining Exhaust Manifold bolts while tightening them to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Attach the Catalytic Converter with a torque of 50 n.m (37 lb ft) to the Exhaust Manifold nuts. To complete the work you should place back the oil level indicator and the Exhaust Manifold heat shield.
