Begin by disconnecting the negative end of the battery when you replace the Blower Motor Resistor. Start by lifting the dashboard then taking off the plenum tray. You should detach all motor electrical connectors then remove mounting screws to take out the Blower Motor Resistor. Put the new Blower Motor Resistor into its correct location before securing it with screws tightened to 1.4 n.m (12 lb in). After reconnecting power wires put back the plenum tray and panel. Then move forward the instrument panel and join the Battery Cable. Complete your checks by testing how well the circuit operates.
