How to replace the canister purge valves on GMC Sonoma?

Start by disconnecting both the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge pipe and the purge solenoid electrical connector. Start by removing the engine wiring harness bracket and purge solenoid mounting nuts from the stud before extracting the purge solenoid from the Intake Manifold. Start by mounting the purge solenoid on top of the Intake Manifold then install the engine wiring harness bracket onto its mounting stud before tightening the purge solenoid mounting nuts to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Rejoin both the evap purge pipe and the purge solenoid's electrical connector.
