To remove the Intake Manifold, first, remove the canister historic purge tube at the Intake Manifold side only. Then, remove the manifold absolute pressure sensor, the Fuel Pump, and Throttle Body. Now, move the brake booster vacuum hose clamp down on the Intake Manifold and remove the oil level indicator tube. Unbolt the fuel rail harness connector bracket and Intake Manifold insulator then remove the Intake Manifold insulator. Discharge the system a/c and take out the a/c line nut and line off the compressor, and move the line to one side. Re-locate the Intake Manifold retaining nuts and bolts , taking out the Intake Manifold , while indicating as an Intake Manifold Gasket is reusable (not damaged). Remove necessary electrical connectors and transfer parts as required, cleaning and inspect the Intake Manifold. Following installation, begin with installing the Intake Manifold and hand-tighten bolts and nuts. Install the Intake Manifold bolts and nuts to the value of 10 nm (89 lb in) for the bolts and nuts, then use the Intake Manifold insulator and tighten its bolt to 10 nm (89 lb in). Secure the fuel rail harness connector bracket to the Intake Manifold and bolt it using 10 nm (.89 lb in). Secure the oil level indicator tube and run the brake booster vacuum hose clamp onto the Intake Manifold, followed by securing the Throttle Body, fuel pump, and the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Finally fit the evaporative emission canister purge tube in to the Intake Manifold end only, install new seal washers to the compressor hose, install the compressor tube to the actual compressor compressor hose nut and you should tighten it to 22 nm (16lb ft)you should now connect the engine harness electrical connector if necessary, and recharge the a/c.
