Installation of a new Fuel Injector requires the relief of fuel pressure and the disconnection of the battery and the removal of plastic engine covers. Disassemble the fuel rail, remove the electrical connector, the retaining clip, and simply remove the old injector. Apply a drop of clean oil to the fresh O-rings, and then put the replacement Fuel Injector in the correct position in its port and reconnect the clip. Reattach the rail, connect bolts to the specifications, connect the harness, start the ignition to prime the system, watch out for any leakage, and then start the engine to a smooth idle.
