    Q:
How to replace the A/C Switch control module on Cadillac SRX? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by shutting down the engine while performing these steps: engage the parking brake and shift the transmission to its lowest gear position. Carefully remove the screw in the ashtray area before using your fingers to gently pull the right and left sides of the HVAC Control Module trim plate until it can be removed. After disconnecting the HVAC Control Module electrical connector along with the ash tray electrical connector you must remove the HVAC Control Module screws and take out the HVAC Control Module. Place the HVAC Control Module inside the trim plate before you install and tighten all HVAC Control Module screws to 2 n.m (18 lb in). After connecting the electrical connectors for hvac control as well as ash tray the operator should press down on the trim plate until the fixing tabs lock into position. Utilize the screw with 2 n.m (18 lb in) torque to attach it behind the ashtray until the transmission is in park then release the parking brake. The control module contains programming and setup documentation.
