    Q:
How to replace the A/C Switch control assembly on GMC Safari? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the HVAC control assembly, a person should begin by removing the IP cluster trim plate and the retaining screw against the left edge of the HVAC control assembly. Pivot the HVAC control assembly from the IP and it will be removed for clearing the path of access to the vacuum and electrical connectors. Remove the electrical connectors and connections between HVAC control assembly and vacuum. For installations, attach the vacuum connectors and electrical connectors to the HVAC control assembly, align tab of the assembly with the slot on the IP and attach the HVAC control assembly. Mount the screw to the assembly of the HVAC control and tighten it up to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Last but not least install the IP cluster trim plate.
