The first step to change the front fog lamp bulb requires removal of the wheelhouse panel. The front fog lamp electrical connector should disconnect from the fog lamp bulb and socket. Approach the task with caution since halogen bulbs store gas under pressure that may break at improper handling moments; shut off the lamp switch and let the bulb cool before starting and always protect your eyes and grip the bulb base only while staying away from contacts with glass and keeping dust and moisture aside from the bulb and disposing of used bulbs correctly in addition to storing halogen bulbs safely out of child reach. The tool operator should turn the fog lamp bulb/socket counterclockwise to extract it from its position. To install the bulb and socket combine them into the fog lamp before performing a clockwise rotation until they achieve full seating. The front fog lamp electrical connector should be reconnected followed by checking the fog lamp operation while the wheelhouse panel needs to be restowed. Complete the aiming process of the fog lamp when necessary.

Users should start the replacement of front fog lamp bulbs by removing the front fascia lower close out panel first. You must disconnect the front fog lamp electrical cable from its connection points with the fog lamp bulb. After that, use counterclockwise motion to remove the fog lamp bulb/socket. Caution must be exercised during work with halogen bulbs. The fog lamp bulb/socket needs removal as a next step for the process. The installation process begins by inserting the bulb/socket into the fog lamp before rotating it clockwise until it reaches its entirely seated position. Attend to the front fog lamp electrical connector until it joins the fog lamp bulb/socket and check the fog lamp function while reinstalling the front fascia lower close out panel. A proper aim adjustment should be performed at the end of the process.

Install the bulb/socket to the fog lamp and rotate it clockwise until fully seated.
