    One must begin right rear Parking Brake Cable servicing by lifting and supporting the vehicle before the task. The tang on the connector needs to bend in order to remove the cable. Holding the cable towards the rear of the car produces slack. Separate the cable from both the connector before moving it out of the axle bracket . Begin by taking off the tire-wheel assembly then the Brake Drum following that. The screwdriver should be inserted between the Brake Shoe and the lower part of the rear park brake lever to remove its cable eyelet fitting. Pull out the conduit fitting from the backing plate when you press down the retaining tangs on the plate. The first step for installation involves fitting the conduit into the backing plate equally while connecting the Parking Brake Cable to the parking brake lever. Install both the Brake Drum and tire and wheel assembly back into position. The cable needs to be connected to the axle bracket and the right rear cable needs to be attached to the connector. The safety stands need to be taken down while lowering the vehicle as the final step. No adjustment is needed for the parking brake system since it operates through automatic adjustment mechanisms but correct tension adjustment for the rear brakes might become necessary. Apply complete power to the hand brake and let it go four to six times to enable system self-adjustment.
