Before cleaning wheel brake parts with compressed air or using a dry brush you must verify that no asbestos fibers exist in the model because asbestos fibers could become airborne. Follow this procedure to clean brake parts: use a cloth with water to remove dust and also prevent brake fluid damage through proper container usage, fender placement, and shop cloth application. Brake fluid containers should be resealed while wiping them clean to keep them from leaking as a safety measure.
