    Q:
How to replace the Antenna Cable for the navigation and cellular telephone on Chevrolet Impala? Posted by Customer
    A:
In order to dig out the coaxial cable for navigation and cellular telephone Antenna in the impala, you first need to lower the rear of head liner like a bat in order to get to the digital Antenna connection, disconnect the digital Antenna connection and cut the connector on the harness side of the wire. Next, take out the trim of the left rear compartment side, disconnect the Antenna Cable connector and cut off the end on the cable side. To install, run along the path the old cable travelled through the interior of the vehicle with the new cellular Antenna Cable to the rear compartment area, following the exactly same route of the old cable with mechanic's wire if needed to help in doing the job and fasten the new cable with tie straps. Connect the new cable to the onstar module and replace the left rear compartment side trim on and connect it to the digital Antenna and secure the headliner.
