    Q:
How to replace the headlight assembly or headlight bulb or cornering, sidemarker, park, and turn signal bulb on Chevrolet Equinox? Posted by Customer
    A:
First open the hood then remove push-in retainers from fascia to tie bar to access headlamp assembly and all signal lights. Secure the radiator grille strap from damaging the headlamp lens by fastening a strip of tape to the back of the headlamp retaining clip when squeezing the top of the fascia assembly away from the vehicle. Begin by taking out the two headlamp bolts then pull downwards from the bottom outboard corner of the lamp to make the lower rear retainer detach. Take the four bulbs from the headlamp back end before removing the headlamp unit from the vehicle. Put the headlamp in the headlamp opening and insert the headlamp bulbs (2, 3, 4, 5). After fitting the lower rear retainer securely push the headlamp forward and install the two bolts (1 and 2) with 2.5 N.m of torque. Place the fascia assembly properly while installing the radiator grille strap retainer into the headlamp. Add the fascia onto its attachment points through tie bar push-in retainers to finish installing the hood.
